Only Vino Dessera is growing Barbera, a grape originated from Piedmont, Italy. It seems it perfectly adapted to Turkish north western climate. Quite fruity and lively nose with black fruits, black pepper and slightly oaky aromas. Medium high acidity and medium bodied. Flavours of blackberry, black cherry, liquorice, sweet spices and vanilla as a result of oak. Delicious and juicy. Enough acidity to pair with some pizzas or with cheese Eski Kasar for example.
