BELISARIO MARCHE ROSSO PRESENTS A DEEP RUBY RED COLOR WITH PURPLE HUES. ON THE NOSE, IT REVEALS VIBRANT AROMAS OF RIPE RED BERRIES, CHERRIES, AND PLUMS, WITH HINTS OF SPICES AND EARTHY UNDERTONES. THE PALATE IS SMOOTH AND WELL-ROUNDED, OFFERING FLAVORS OF DARK FRUIT LIKE BLACKBERRIES AND CHERRIES, BALANCED WITH SOFT TANNINS AND A TOUCH OF PEPPER AND LICORICE. THE WINE HAS A MEDIUM BODY, LIVELY ACIDITY, AND A PLEASANT, LINGERING FINISH WITH SUBTLE NOTES OF SPICES AND DRIED HERBS.

VINIFICATION PROCESS
THE VINIFICATION PROCESS FOR BELISARIO MARCHE ROSSO BEGINS WITH THE MANUAL HARVEST OF CAREFULLY SELECTED RED GRAPES, TYPICALLY A BLEND OF MONTEPULCIANO AND SANGIOVESE. AFTER CRUSHING AND DESTEMMING, THE JUICE UNDERGOES FERMENTATION IN STAINLESS STEEL TANKS AT CONTROLLED TEMPERATURES TO RETAIN THE VIBRANT FRUIT FLAVORS. THE WINE IS THEN MACERATED WITH THE SKINS FOR A PERIOD TO EXTRACT COLOR, TANNINS, AND ADDITIONAL COMPLEXITY. AFTER FERMENTATION, THE WINE IS AGED IN STAINLESS STEEL OR NEUTRAL OAK TO PRESERVE ITS FRESH FRUIT CHARACTER, FOLLOWED BY STABILIZATION, FILTRATION, AND BOTTLING, RESULTING IN A WELL-BALANCED RED WINE WITH BRIGHT FRUIT NOTES AND SMOOTH TANNINS.
